Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.On Wednesday April 13 through Friday April 15, 2022 we will be engaging in our three days of prayer and fasting.  Our goal is to be in fasting each day from 6:00AM-6:00PM.

The Theme will be “Behold I Come Quickly”. The pertinent scripture reference is Revelation 22:12- 14 “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city”.

Revelation 22 informs us that the Lord is coming quickly and when He returns, He is going to pay mankind according to their deeds. Therefore, is important that we live our lives according to His divine will and purpose. The enemy of our soul desire is to distract us from reaching our full potential in Christ and living according to the mandates that God has set forth for His people. Jesus endured the cross because of the joy that awaited Him.  We also should ensure the obstacles and the struggles that we encounter due to the joy which also awaits us.  We are told in John 14 that God has prepared a place for us that where He is there we will be also.  Revelation 21:3-4 “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  The word of God provides great consolation and assurance to humanity as they yield themselves to God.

Unfortunately, so many fail to heed the call of Christ and will end up being separated from Him throughout eternity.  However, that was not God’s intended plan and purpose for His creation. Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. God Has set before us life and death and He encourages us to choose life.  God is indeed a gentleman and He will not go against our will.  He has given us the freedom of choice but with choice there is also consequences.  Revelation 21:8 declares the consequence for those who fails to adhere to the principles of Christ. It declares, they will have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death.  If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he will also deny us. So, brethren let us do our best to stand, especially in these last and closing days. Let us prove faithful to He who has called us because our reward is sure.

Now we are not made aware of the day when the Lord will return.  The Amplified Bibles states in Mark 13:32. “But of that (exact) day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son (in His humanity), but the Father alone”.  Therefore, we must live in a state or readiness.  Matthew 24 gives us clear information of what will precede the return of Christ.  Therefore, there is no room for living our life carelessly. Matthew 24:37-39 indicates But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”.  Therefore, Let us live Godly and sober lives, that when He returns He does not find us outside of His will, but find us working and watching for His return.  Let us not become weary in well doing and faint, we are too close to that which the Lord has gone to prepare for them that loves Him.  Let us adhere to the instructions given by the Apostle Paul to fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.  There is a blessing prepare for all those who remains faithful until the Lord return.
