Grace and peace be multiplied unto you, from our great God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

On September 29 – October 1, 2021, we will commence another Three Days of Prayer and Fasting. The theme is “Working While It is Day!” The daily duration of the fasting is 6 am – 6 pm each day.

It is my view that we are in the closing moments of the Church age. Any moment our Lord Jesus Christ will signal the end of this Dispensation of Grace by summoning us to our eternal reward. However, until that day comes, we still have work that is still unaccomplished. This work requires a great sense of urgency because of the darkness of the times.

Edward S Ufford’s hymn, “Throw out the lifeline across the dark wave” captures what the posture should be of every member of United Apostolic Church. In the fourth verse we read:

“Soon will the season of rescue be o’er;

Soon will they drift to eternity’s shore;

Haste then, my brother, no time for delay!

But throw out the lifeline and save them today.”

The season of rescue will soon be over, so we must become more intentional in our efforts to win the lost while ensuring that we are anchored to Jesus Christ.

During the month of October, we will be having four strategic events that are all geared towards soul winning and soul retention. These are our Persuade Youth Conference (October 5-8), Community Evangelism in Bellmore, Long Island (October 2nd and 16th), the opening of our daughter church (October 17) and our Men’s Conference (October 22-24).

We will be setting aside these days of prayer and fasting especially for these events because we know that without God, we can do nothing.
